Save Your City, Elect a Republican
This is a very interesting factual finding on poverty in cities that I wanted to share with my fellow Conservatives. If you are a true republican, you will be thinking “I told you so” while you are perusing it. Please enjoy…

What do the top ten cities (over 250,000) with the highest poverty rates all have in common?
Detroit, Michigan (first on the poverty rate list) has not elected a Republican Mayor since 1961;
Buffalo, New York (second) hasn’t elected one since 1954; Cincinnatti, Ohio (third) has not elected one since 1984; Cleveland, Ohio (fourth)…since 1989; Miami, Florida (fifth) has NEVER had a Republican Mayor; St. Louis, Missouri (sixth) since 1949; El Paso, Texas (seventh) has NEVER had a Repulican Mayor; Milwaukee, Wisconsin (eighth) since 1908; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (ninth) since 1952 and Newark, New Jersey (tenth) since 1907.
Einstein once said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats—and yet they are still poor…
“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they cannot and should for themselves.“

Without the poor, the Democrat party would simply not exist. The Democrats’ policies are not created to lift the downtrodden and abused out of their shabby environments, but to keep them there and dependent on the government. A poor person votes Democrat because they have little to nothing and think they might gain something by doing so. Once they attain wealth of any level, however, suddenly they vote Republican…why? Maybe it’s because they suddenly have something to lose.

I still cannot fathom why the liberals continue to ignore these disastrous trends. I loved the Einstein quote –it couldn’t of summed it up any better!
