Thomas Jefferson’s quote sums it all up very well. A frugal government is key, even when times are bad-stop shuffling money around to “stimulate” the economy. Leave the money in the hands of the people so that they either reinvest it into the economy or into themselves. The government does NOT know any better how to move the economy.
