Remember Good Friday
Happy Good Friday! I would like to remind everyone that today is the day we remember that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of mankind. He didn’t just have his cable turned off or sacrifice his bowling night or eliminate his pizza night. He suffered and died on the cross at the hands of a vicious mob, jeering and cheering. “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.” He died so that we, mankind, could find salvation through Him and everlasting life. Do any one of you out there love someone so much that you would suffer a horrific death just to ensure your loved one’s destiny? Especially when that someone consists of the jeering, cheering mob watching your suffering? And yet, after all he did for us, we continue to show disrespect. We eliminate prayer in schools. We won’t allow manger scenes on public property. We take down the Ten Commandments in public buildings. We won’t allow Creation to be taught in our schools. What kind of thanks is that? I would like to remind each and every one of you, to take a few minutes out of your busy day today, and thank God for Jesus Christ, for his sacrifice on the cross, and all he has done for you and mankind throughout the millenia. I am. It’s time we show some gratitude or risk losing His blessings. God bless you. -Randbo

In an effort to slowly destroy this great Holiday, the City of Davenport, Iowa tried to change “Good Friday” to “Spring Holiday” in an effort to appeal to the ‘non-religious’. Well, guess what? It didn’t work, the great citizens of the town spoke up in outrage. Now, the City Council says that the name change was “an error”. Ya think??
Happy Easter everyone!!!
